Dollar strength has pushed crypto into a continued correction and an overheated NVDA has started to cool off to close the week.

Today weā€™re covering commentary from the legendary tech investor and founder/CEO of Softbank, Masayoshi Son.

Masa explained that robots will be ā€œ1,000x smarter than humans in 10 yearsā€ to a room full of Softbank shareholders as he plans to triple (quadruple?") down on AI investing.

Weā€™re also covering Donald Trumpā€™s appearance on ā€œAll Inā€, a tech podcast hosted by four nonpartisan venture capitalists.

On Wednesday, we polled the readers on who they thought would win the upcoming election. Trump came out ahead, pulling 29 of the 45 votes.

Prediction markets also have Trump priced as a slight favorite, implying a 59% chance of winning the Presidency in November.

June 12: These assets all look great for continuation higher.

We are considering moving on from Tesla as it has lagged the rest of our portfolio badly and doesnā€™t have an obvious catalyst. Weā€™ll monitor and let you know if we decide to move on.

Older Notes

Wednesday, April 3, 2024: We havenā€™t deployed the cash yet, but are eyeing exposure to a few assets including META and PLTR.

Monday, March 11, 2024: We sold Apple this morning. The newsletter held the stock from inception a year ago for a meager 12% gain.

The company has lost its magic evident by complacent iPhone releases, lack of a coherent vision for AI integration and punitive & anti-competitive App Store policies.

We believe the stock will move in-line with the broader Nasdaq going forward.

Weā€™ll sit on the cash for now, but plan to redeploy it quickly.
